If you know someone who’s experiencing unsheltered homelessness, go here.

NOTE: Due to limited availability, some shelters are not accepting walk-ins overnight. Please call the CAM team Monday – Friday between 8 am – 6 pm to speak to someone who can advise on shelter availability and/or other options. Please note that available shelter beds are limited and change daily.

CAM Implementing Partner, CHS, has developed a regularly updated Needs Management map where you’ll find a wide range of things, including but not limited to: soup kitchens, food pantries, free or low-cost medical care, mutual aid organizations, employment resources, parenting support, free legal aid, and more!

After Hours
When CAM Services are closed, there are two options that can help you access emergency shelter:
- Call 866-313-2520/313-305-0311 to be connected with the Street Outreach team, Motor City Mitten Mission.
- Go to the nearest police station to be connected to emergency shelter. View the list of precincts here.
